We are pleased to announce the appointment of Luca Bordin as Chief Executive Officer of our company from the 1st of July 2026.
Luca, 56 years old, married and father of two daughters, holds a degree in Computer Science and brings over 25 years of leadership experience in industrial machinery and automation. He has held senior roles as Managing Director and CEO in international companies, combining strategic vision, operational excellence, and commercial development across EMEA, North America, and Southeast Asia.
He has led start-ups, managed turnaround and restructuring programs, developed direct and indirect sales organizations, and driven growth in aftermarket, digitalization, and international business development.
With extensive expertise in packaging machinery, industrial automation, and material handling, Luca has consistently demonstrated strong capabilities in strategic planning, sales management, and the optimization of operational and customer service functions. His customer-centric approach focuses on building responsive, reliable, and value-driven service models. I am sure his experience in these other fields will bring a new view to cable industry and will reinforce SAMP ambition to become the leading cable machinery company.
His ambition is to generate substantial value for customers, partners, and stakeholders through high-quality products and services tailored to exceed expectations while ensuring business profitability. I am sure we all welcome this approach.
