Bentivoglio (BO), May 6, 2025 – The growth path of SAMP, the long-established Bologna-based company and global leader in machinery for wire and cable production, shows no sign of slowing down. The SAMP Group, acquired in 2021 by HVD Partners, has confirmed the positive trend of recent years, closing 2024 with consolidated revenues of €60.5 million (up from €45 million in 2023) and netprofits exceeding €1.7 million.
Further confirming the soundness and consistency of its development plan, SAMP’s orderbook is very strong, showing the continued trust of our customers in our machinery and services. Volume growth continues in a steady and structured way, driven by repeat orders from leading global players in the industry—clear evidence of the stability we have built and our ability to consolidate results over time.
The workforce also continues to grow: SAMP now employs around 250 people globally (of which 115 are at the Bentivoglio site).
SAMP now enters a new phase under the leadership of Marcel Baettig. A senior executive with extensive international experience, Baettig has built his career in precision engineering and industrial technology, gaining deep expertise in operational management and the development of high-performance teams. Prior to joining SAMP, he held executive roles in global industrial groups, where he helped implement strategies for organic growth and technological innovation.
“Our top priority is to ensure stability and continuity with the development path initiated in recent years,” emphasizes Marcel Baettig. “Customer intimacy is the key. We are working intensively to further strengthen our customer service, enhance operational efficiency, and improve integration across our production processes. Early results confirm we are on the right track: the interest of customers to work with us is rising, and so is our solidity.”
